Autonomous ocean observation systems produce an increasing amount of time series data. To make it accessible, onsite and offsite curation and analysis is key. The web-based tool OceanTEA supports scientists at curating, interactively exploring and analysing high-dimensional datasets. Its software architecture is based on microservices – small self-contained applications with a singular functional responsibility which can be developed and operated independently. One use case is the presentation of models for the movements of cold water corals as an exemplary interactive publication.
